My first Children’s Book came out yesterday. It is called “Why I’m Late Today” written by Torran Anderson and illustrated by me.

Congrats! The illustrations look great. I always enjoy your character-design for younger audiences. Did you use alot of reference for the odd angle shots of the girls?

I made some kneaded eraser heads to get the angles right. I also used some photos and I looked at other artist's work to help with the bodies. A lot of comic artist do dramatic body angles. Even though comic art is a different style, it can help with visualizing the perspective.
