I can't help but keep commenting on these and asking questions (Cause they are amazing)! How long do you generally spend on these sketches? I'm sure you have enough Freelance work to keep you very busy...
Thanks!! Slytherin took maybe a couple of hours but Filch and Mrs Norris took awhile. I try to spend more time on the design and drawing and less on the rendering. Usually the watercolor sketches have more design issues and are more about practicing painting. Right now I am waiting on a couple of projects to get green lit so I have some free time. It works out because I am also sick. :( I am using these to practice and to possibly add to my portfolio for middle grade chapter books. I have some more in the works specifically for the Chamber of Secrets. I am trying to do a chapter spot and a full page illustration for a few chapters.
