Beatles Portraits

I didn't make it into the show. I turned it in close to the deadline and it is hard to get a spot let alone 4. It is cool. The show looks awesome and it is open until July 29th at Gallery Nucleus.

Birthday Painting Sketches

For my birthday I stayed at home and painted (that is what I wanted do). I finished up a few portrait sketches and some color studies for bigger illustrations. Here is Bellatrix Lestrange, Luna Lovegood, Pansy Parkinson and Percy Weasley.
Also color studies for Harry at the Zoo and Hermione brewing Polyjuice Potion. I think I might go for bottom right for Harry and bottom left for Hermione??

Beatles Final Drawings

Here are the final drawings on watercolor paper. I might touch up the text. I want it to look handwritten and wobbly but not too sloppy.

Beatles Sketches

Here are some quick watercolor studies of the Beatles for the Tribute Show at Gallery Nucleus. I doubt they will have any room for me (it is due next week). It is good practice anyways. I haven't drawn likeness in a long time.  :)
I am thinking about hand painting the opening line from a song that each of them wrote from Sargent Peppers??? I was going to paint out all the lyrics like wallpaper but I don't think I am going to do the final large enough.
